New render of Apple iPhone 8’s front leaked before official release date

Apple iPhone 8 image reveals bezel-less OLED display

While Apple’s iPhone 8 is almost a month away from its official release, a new leak render spilling more beans on the device has cropped up. Thanks to renown tipster Evan Blass, who shared a new image render of Apple’s next-generation iPhone 8 encased in a smartphone cover on his Twitter handle @evleaks.
Apple pundit Mark Gurman – who is famous for his sources inside Cupertino – described the latest leak as “a good look at the notch” in the display of the upcoming iPhone.
To start with, the smartphone case appears to be the Citron coloured Plasma Feather-Light case from the premium case maker, Urban Armor Gear (UAG). The iPhone 8 can be seen with a near bezel-less design and a separate top notch that is likely to feature a range of two sensors, the earpiece and the 3D front facing camera. The image also indicates that Apple has decided to do away with the traditional Home button on iPhone 8. Instead, it will have an entirely virtual home button, which will actually be triggered by pressing on the screen.
Apple is widely-tipped to use a 5.8-inch OLED display on the next-generation iPhone. Also, the Touch ID sensor is missing from the front, which fuels the possibility of Apple forgoing Touch ID entirely and opting for its new facial recognition software instead.
Given that the render of iPhone 8 leaked displays a March date on its screen, it implies that the design is an old one and there are chances that the final design of the handset may vary. Many analysts and Apple watchers have predicted a price tag over $1,000 for the iPhone 8.

It is highly rumoured that Apple will announce the iPhone 8 next month, alongside the iPhone 7s and 7s Plus that are expected to arrive in mid-September. In such a case, it is better to wait and see the actual product and design when it is launched next month.
